What is a Medical Mission?

“Through medical missions, we dispatch doctors to communities in the Philippines where people lack regular access to healthcare. By donating the profits from sales of the prescription drug ‘RanbellⓇ,’ we aim to create an environment that enables sustainable medical care.”

This is the mission of MIYABI HOUSE Drug Distribution Services.

“Medical Missions” are volunteer medical activities in which doctors and nurses affiliated with medical institutions in urban areas such as Manila and Davao in the Philippines raise donations to form medical teams. With the cooperation of the military for transportation and on-site support, they travel to remote villages—many of which lack proper hospitals—to provide free medical treatment, including dental care and surgical procedures, for patients who are too poor to visit a hospital.

Each time, more than 2,000 people from surrounding villages—who lack regular access to medical care—come seeking treatment.

MIYABI HOUSE will continue to strive toward the realization of “Creating World Health” in order to deliver medical care to as many people as possible.
